ugh. get out.
what do you think this is, /v/?
only 14yearolds kids play counter strike (unless you're asian, in which case you mature much much slower and may play well into your 20's; regardless of which you are, get out).
jeeeze, /prog/ is really going to shit

if they brought back amx mod. I miss grapple hooks especially using them in cs_assault. :(
This seems like a /v/ or maybe /g/ topic. I don't see why you posted it in /prog/.
I haven't played CS in ages, but I don't see that much of a point in the addition you want to make. A dead player died due to his mistakes, he should wait to respawn once the round is over, if you want to go afk, just become a spectator.

programmers would have better insight into it like they might now if thats not programmibly possible for the creators to do.

Unless you are talking about how to "program" a mod vor CS I think this subject is not about programming, but about a video game and its flaws whch clerly belongs to /v/.

Said by 14yearold with an inferiority complex

Of course it would be possible to do. Things which are not possiblefeasible to do are fairly more complex than "giving control of a dead player". Still, I fail to see the point of such a feature, dead players could ruin the score, and why would they want to impersonate you? I remember plaing on some custom CS server many years ago which just kicked or killed you if you idled(didn't move) on start, I think that's a better solution to this problem than allowing other players to impersonate you.

Its not a solution to afk's its just for some added fun.
Like if theres only 2 players left and its you against the best player on the opposing team. You could hand control over to a better player on your team whos dead.

A better player on your team wouldnt be dead, you'd be dead cuz you suck at CS.

Proposal: a set of limits or heuristics designed to make teams actually play like they're in a team.

i only play ones that provide new and interesting things to do rather than the same environment/weapons/gameplay over and over and over and over and over... like your shitty counterstrike and WoW (another game you probably love).
also, anybody who decided to learn how to write code because they dream of making games is scum.

This is a terribly useless idea. Counter-Strike matches don't usually last long to make this useful. If you do go AFK and hand someone control, what happens five seconds later when a new round starts?
I use expert GetPixel() calls to sit at the end of hallways and triggerbot-AWP people on that server.

You get your player back at the end of the round. Sometimes people die in the first few seconds of the round. It gives the shitty user more fun, cuz after they die they can use a dead user to play.
