Which terminal emulator do you prefer? xterm? konsole? xfce4-terminal? gnome-terminal? rxvt?

How can people live with the concept of a command line separate from an editor? The first time I launched M-x shell, I thought I knew something like this must exist. I can't believe someone willingly uses a terminal emulator in this time and age.
