Pascal's mainly used for teaching programming in 3d world country colleges/universities (mostly replaced by Java, though).
Perl's main use is hacking shit together in little time with no regards for maintainability.
Ruby's main use is hype and showing off to your shitty hipster friends what a cool little faggot you are.
