antispam for 4chan

Is it possible to make an automatic anti-spam based on the report feature?

Maybe add an extra option.
O Rule breaking posts
O Illegal content
O Spam

It will check for similar posts in all boards, if more than one post with a similar composition were reported as spam by a X number of users it will be flagged as spam deleting all similar posts and blocking it to be posted again. Something similar to the gmail anti-spam.

I don't think that's as easy as you make it sound. Someone has to craft those regexp's, otherwise it may catch innocent people(and even if they do it properly, it may still catch some innocent posters). Maybe they could get a janitor if there's too much spam, but I haven't seen spam on /prog/ in a while, (just the cNAKED... one). The imageboards do however get a lot of spam, but the spammers there seem to randomize their posts to avoid the filters, which makes doing this properly even harder than it is.

tl;dr: If people could completly stop spam, they would have done it by now.
