During my coding for this one site i came into realization (no pun intended) that it does not show as i have intended:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />
IE and firefox does not show utf-8 characters whereas chrome works well. . .
I can't quite find the reason behind this, someone(that is actually YOU -the reader-, teach me how to fish :D

IHBT, good one. The server probably sends a Content-Type header that overrides whatever the page specifies.
