Lua Web 3.0

Okay, so there's Ruby on Rails, right? And, there's its gems.

Okay, so then there's Lua. It has "lua rocks" (yes, much like ruby's gems).

I want to create a web framework like Rails, but it's for Lua. It would be called Crack (usage: Lua on Crack). This way, when you need to get extra components, you need to get Crack Rocks.

Does this sound like a good idea? The only thing holding me back is Lua has no official working threading implementation.

Enjoy being politely asked by the Ruby on Rails community to change your name[1]

To be fair, he doesn't own "X on Y", he's just asking that they don't include the name of his specific project. >>1's idea should be fine, even if it's not particularly original
