Hey /prog/, why does people (expecially debian people) hate ubuntu?

Another PC gamer here and I don't want a console. I require a mouse and keyboard, I use a mouse and keyboard all day when doing productive stuff so I'm not about to learn a new input method just for gaming. It would be like learning to walk around on my hands.
