Executable Applets

Ive got a shitload of java applets that I need to make executable. I tried to load them into jars... but that didn't work too well. Double clicking on the jars caused a 'no main method' error.
Anyone know if this is possible without a substantial amount of editing?

Certainly this computer-related problem you have cannot be solved with jars.
