About 30% of the students at my CS university are women. About half of my group are women. They're all pretty bad. One of them asked for my help because she couldn't figure out how to sort only the odd numbers in an array while leaving the even ones in their original position. She has a job doing html, css and sql and gets paid decently.
In my statistics class one student said "LOL WUT R OUR CHANCES OF GETTING THROUGH COLLEGE XD" implying it was hard. I said our classes are incredibly easy. (which they are, you don't even need to study to pass most of them) He responded by saying "NOT ALL OF US ARE GENIUSES LIKE YOU". I'm not even good, I'm just decent but I'm better than almost all of the people I know and that's just depressing.

Everyone avoids math like the plague here for some reason. Their mentality is "LOL I'M GONNA PROGRAM, WHAT DO I NEED MATH FOR?"
