Not really judging, he's just a supporter of /prog/'s sovereignty from the mass of imageboard-esque speak that appears to seek to spread its language and customs to all of the former world4ch boards that were once physically separated (hosted on world4ch.org) now united to the main site of 4chan (under the dis server) but still separate in spirit.

/prog/ has had some influence on /b/ in the past, however it has dramatically fallen to the point where it is now non existent. This was at a time when /b/ and 4chan, and world4ch were still fledging communities. Now since they are well established, I believe that world4ch should once again become a renewed community in and of itself, in spirit and in physical form (the renewed use of the world4ch.org domain).

The former domain is still owned by the administration, some of them in IRC communication even still refer to "the textboards" by this former name, and I believe if /prog/ (and not only /prog/, and all the other textboards) wishes to continue to be a separate influence within the sphere of world4ch and the greater 4chan site as a whole, its members should plead with the administration to enact this change.

Some would say "Bah! This is nonsense and only pointless nostalgia for the past!". Some of our members may hold this to be true (but would probably not admit to it), however in this point in time and the current political atmosphere of the textboards and of the greater 4chan site, I believe a peaceful secession of these nineteen textboards from the main site known as "4chan" is vital to the future of not only /prog/, but of its neighbors as well.

I yield back and request to see how other /prog/lodytes or /prog/riders have to say on this matter. Thank you.

The original /prog/ culture lives on on IRC (and by that I emphatically do not mean #/prog/), where it will continue to weather autistic retards and imageboard rejects until the end of summer, as always.
Influence on the imageboards is a pointless goal to pursue now. There are no people left there who are worth interacting with.

Right, which is why I mentioned that the relationship between /prog/ and the imageboards have dramatically reduced basically to the point of non existence. This is happening on the other 18 texboards as well, with widely varying degrees on the issue, but many whom use /b/ or imageboard-esque language and attitude are often told to "go back there", and the reply from them often is "this is 4chan and we can do whatever we want because it's 4chan".

What I'm proposing is a return to the use of the world4ch.org domain and a secession of the 19 textboards from the main site of 4chan. This wouldn't exactly eliminate the problem completely, but I believe that it would alleviate some of the issues that /prog/ faces; not just during Summertime in the Northern Hemisphere, but year-round.
