We've done this already.

Challenge: make a Fizzbot that responds to every third fizzbuzz thread with `fizz' and every fifth fizzbuzz thread with `buzz'.

The remarkable thing about the FizzBuzz challenge is how it seems to compel programmers to all post their quite ordinary and unremarkable solutions, as if somehow their trivial accomplishment warranted making a display of to others.
Probably part of the draw is the supposition that a lot of programmers can't do this, that even the very fact that you find this task simple somehow marks you as belonging to the upper percentile of programmers.
This little factoid is obviously false. Thinking about it critically, no one who could not succeed at this most basic of programming tasks could ever hold a real programming job for as much as a week. Thus we can conclude that if indeed people at that level of noncompetence show up in the interview process, they're most likely liberal art majors applying to random job offerings and trying to wing it, and their representation in the actual working force is close to zero. Meaning the only thing you've proven by posting that five-second snipped of code is that you're probably not a manager.
So please people, stop spamming my blog. No one cares that it took twelve lines of RPG, or that you wrote your Java version in just three minutes. I'll be locking my previous post for comments, let's keep it clean from now on.

They'll also try to imply that they could do it much faster if they wanted to, by making up excuses like ``This took a lotof time cuz I wrote this one while I was watching tv, and msging my gf, lol.'' The purpose is twofold; he actually thinks it's an awesome time, and is trying to make people go “Wow, he managed that [i]even while he was msging his gf[i]!1?”, and he reasons with himself that this is why other people have done "better".
