sourceforge or github

I've got a software project that I'd like host somewhere. The versioning system is git, and I'd like to know if there's some kind of advantage in using sourceforge instead of github or vice versa.

Yes, I know it, but I just need git. Since when I've tried it I can't quit using it! Recently I heard that sourceforge enabled it.

I'm wondering if with sourceforge the project visibility is higher than github.
