On this _{user-supplied video} it is clearly seen that Richard Stallman eats his foot (starting from from about 1:40).

If you watch the video, he first puts his right hand to his mouth, which isn't really near his foot. He then brings his left hand to his mouth, which is the hand he has been using to ``massage'' his foot.
What I'm guessing happened here was he was trying to pick something out of his teeth, and since he was trying to pay attention to the guy (who speaks very elonquently I must admit), he forgot that he was using his hand just a moment ago to touch his foot.
