I'm bored of programming

I've been programming for about 7 years and for much of that time I loved to code.  These days however I find it boring.  I'll start coding for a little bit and then I'll just get so bored of it, it feels like a chore these days... much different from what it used to be... something I liked to do.  I tried changing the type of coding I did, the environment I did it in, I even tried learning new languages.  I've found out though that it just doesn't excite me like it used to.  I think I might stop completely and it makes me sad. :(

Computing is not just about programming, you should read some stuff about other areas of computing, it might even improve your comprehension of programming. Also, don't take it as an obligation, just do whatever entertains you, if you're bored of programming, forget about it for some time and just do what you think is fun.
