I'm terrified of getting a brain disease with causes some sort of dementia or other cognitive decline. The thought of no longer having the intelligence to write even an "Hello World" program is horrifying.
Sadly, this will probably happen eventually. As I sit in the care home drooling into my grey-whiskered beard, unable to even to read SICP, I will wait until the day that a random interloper violently shoves a cudder down my throat, mercifully choking me to death and thus breaking me out of the endless loop of decline and sadness.
