I'm not sure how the Shanghai Stock Exchange can be compared to a Global Pastry Uprising. Kind of apples and oranges, don't you think?

GPU has superior performance.
Thats why Intel builds larrabee.

SSE = extension to one CPU's instruction set
GPU = another specialized CPU
There are many other architectural differences.
It's not fair to compare them.

X = extension to one language's instruction set(Assembler macros anyone?)
Y = another specialized Language(C++)
There are many other architectural differences.
It's not fair to compare them.
