I was browsing SF and I found this: https://sourceforge.net/projects/blobblogsystem/

I've been thinking of getting a blog, but I never liked Movable Type much.  What do you think?  Is this any better?  Or will I hate it too?

If you are willing it wouldn't be hard to learn the PHP and SQL to make a blog.  Probably a night to learn it and another to write it.
