ITT we argue about arbitrary test results based on arbitrary, tiny subsets of human cognition. Stephen Hawking said it best (though I can't believe it took someone of his stature to finally admit it), "Anyone who cares about IQ is stupid".

115-130's have fun arguing, us 180's will be writing stories, programming, playing an instrument, doing math, or something intellectual like that.

I got 100 for this test once, so I agree with Hawking.

I got 110 but I wrote a Brainfuck compiler so I figure that bumps me up to about 130-140 range.

I found it odd that 38, which was quite obvious to me, was sandwiched between 37 and 39 which weren't obvious at all.

Q32 read left to right. The line segment touching the line segment which pivots 90 degrees in the first "movement" is the one which rotates in the second "movement", giving the final column. Take the last row for example. The line on the bottom right rotates giving the X in the middle column. Now, the line directly adjacent to the now rotated first line segment, which will be the upper left line in middle column, is the one which needs to rotate to give the final column. So the answer is E

Q34 I think is arithmetic. Shaded circles inside the outer circle are positive integers. Circles outside are negative integers. The answer then is just the outer circle by itself (2 outside combined with 2 inside on the last row yield 0)

Q38 I think is F, if you take the middle arrow as an operator for the first column. The diagonal arrow corresponds to "stretch and rotate 45 degrees", though I'm not sure how the middle row works.

I got 150 IQ when I was younger, but I'm currently taking retard math in high school. Doctors think I have a form of dyscalculia, which is like dyslexia but with numbers and maths.
For example, if I need to work out the sales tax for someone, I need someone to tell me precisely what to punch in the calculator - otherwise I'll simply forget what numbers I need to hit or I'll get confused.

Are we allowed to use a pencil and paper for this test?  Most of the problems are the sort of thing you solve just by looking at them, but a few of the later ones (number 39 in particular) seem to demand some kind of directed inquiry.

I got 133 on that test, that last one completely stumped me.

Another thing you need to understand is that you shouldn't feel bad if you only get 110 on the test.
Many people lead successful lives with an IQ of 110, policemen, store clerks, garbage men, etc

IQ tests measure how good you are at taking IQ tests.

The thing about IQ tests is that it measures how well you're able to reason about things, a skill which is only needed in a few jobs. For example, process line working, fast food operator, checkout person, store clerk attendant, shoe shiner, coal mine worker, etc are all very good professions which do not require a high IQ

Alright... I'm a mathematics grad student and I only got 115 on that test.
