programming

I did A bit of programming in high school (C++) and some in collage (VB) and I was wanting to get back into it again. What language does /prog/ think I should start back with? If you have any reference materials it would be very helpful.

Hey let's start a new language that not only looks beautiful but has "batteries included". Well indented code looks beautiful so I think I'll make indentation mandatory because of this.
