What shell does /prog/ use?
I've only used bash, but I want to explore my options. So, which shell do you use, and, if you feel so inclined, why?

Name: Anonymous 2008-11-15 18:47

When I use a shell, I don't want eight extra KILOBYTES of worthless regular expressions and TCP/UDP support! I just want a TCSHell!!
Not a "bash". Not a "zsh". Those aren't even WORDS!!!! TCSH! TCSH! TCSH IS THE STANDARD!!!

bash, moving to zsh. I'll also try tclsh whenever I have time, and I'm thinking on writing a Python-based shell that combines the shell with a Python REPL, and accepts Python function calls with shell syntax too.

i bet he uses win2k8 core too

Name: Anonymous 2008-11-19 9:37

PowerShell is very cool if you have software with .NET interfaces. Otherwise it's just a steaming pile of "lets call all common commmands something completely unintelligible just so we'll be different."

What sexual hole does /prog/ use? I've only used female vagina, but I want to explore my options. So, which shell do you use, and, if you feel o inclined, why?

Fix'd. Swiching from bash to, well, tsch for example, is like trying homosexual intercourse. I know, because I've tried it.

Question: what does it refer to?
