1. Stack Overflow: Haven't used it much, is it like a reidick of answers? If so, it'll be good for Lisp questions, and bad for PHP questions.

2. XKCD: 3/10, but I'd hardly rate any web comic over 5/10.

3. Java: Enterprise bullshit, stay the fuck away from me. The language is crap (shittily typed (static without inference), shittily featured, lacking so many things in so many ways, complex for what it features) and the standard library is the worst humongous lump of shit I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe they managed to bloat, overengineer, overstructure and overdo something so much. They were so bored and had to have all the time in the world to keep fucking with it until it got to be what it is today.

4. Pretty good operating system; good for 9 out of 10 problem domains and great for 7-8 out of 10 of them. It's usually pretty smart and advanced, especially in the kernel level, despite inheriting from UNIX which is a pretty old OS (this says something about the quality of its original design). On top of that, GNU/Linux is nice free software, although I'd like it better if it were licensed under the current version of the GNU GPL, GPL version three.
