Why must everything we do go from relatively original observation over apropos but overused cliché to imageboard-style ``meme''?

Not as much as I'd enjoy a /prog/ without idiots attacking him just because he's popular. I can't wait for September.

Because he was a moron. There's a difference.

It seems that there is a certain misunderstanding as to who I am. I don't hate Xarn. Quite to the contrary, I respect him as a programmer. I would never make childish threads such as this [http://dis.4chan.org/read/prog/1276663579]. I would also never provoke a Xarn discussion. What I don't like are the Xarnsheeple. Many of the challenges are posted by these people, and in result, there is little point in entering if the Xarn wins anyway. I am able to enjoy the Xarn without the destructive ``cult of personality'' approach and I suggest you do the same.

To Xarn himself, try to enter one or two challenges without giving out any information that could identify you as Xarn. I'd like to see if the people would be able to tell the difference.
