Which to choose?
Shiichan or kusaba? Considering Shiichan hasn't been updated in 4 years(going by
http://wakaba.c3.cx/shii/ ) and kusaba has stopped development(god damnit tee), there isn't much to choose from. Wakaba sucks ass too.

sounds like it's time for a good ol' fashioned fork & merge
/prog/ , get on it[i] ![/i

I propose that /prog/ write its own imageboard, either in Django or Rails.

Please god no. Using raw mod_python (or mod_wsgi) is far superior to either of those bloated ``frameworks''.

Add image handling code and you've got an imageboard.

Please god no. Using raw Haskell (or OCaml) is far superior to this bloated ``FIOC''.

Shiichan hasn't been updated in 4 years
the modified version 4chan uses was posted to this board not too long ago.

Great idea, let's right an imageboard in Haskell. Extra points for using QuickCheck.
