Welcome to aoeui, pmk's editor optimized for fellow users of the...

    Dvorak         TAB  ' , . P Y  F G C R L  / = \

  Keyboard       SHIFT  ; Q J K X  B M W V Z  SHIFT
layout        CTRL  ALT     Space    ALT  CTRL

(or to asdfg, aoeui's QWERTY edition)

To leave now, perhaps because you arrived here by accident, hold down
the Control key and hit both the Space bar and then the backslash (\) key.
This emergency escape sequence is deliberately hard to type so that you
won't accidentally terminate the editor and lose work.

Documentation for the editor should be available with the shell command
"man aoeui" or "man asdfg".

Bugs, complaints, suggestions, and greetings can be sent to the forum linked
to aoeui's home page http://aoeui.sourceforge.net.  Please let me know how
aoeui is working for you.

DVORAK is not faster than QWERTY. Scientific studies agreed.

Now prove that the patterns Dvorak attempts to optimize for are actually worth worrying about.

158wpm on QWERTY here. I don't think switching to Dvorak is going to get me any further speed, since at those rates what matters most is not where the next key is, but how fast you can press them down.

Update: A couple of week have now passed, but I haven't received any QWERTY keystroke timing data yet that I can plug into the evolutionary model.
