They should give Reiser a computer and limited Internet access (to Namesys and a few select UNIX/Linux/GNU documentation sites, detecting and disabling proxies).

While the damage he did to the society cannot be undone, he can still do something to help it and repay a tiny bit of that damage if he works on Reiser4. Besides, Namesys' money is going for his kids.

BTW, details on Reiser4? I've heard it supports arbitrary metadata, but I'm looking for two features in a filesystem I haven't found yet:
- INDEXED arbitrary metadata,
- Reverse list of hardlinks (i.e. tell which directory entries link to a specific file in O(1) time, or, at worst, O(Log2(number_of_files)) time.
