I Need to Learn Java

So, I need to learn Java on my own as a prerequisite before I start some computer science classes in Spring semester. Does anyone here know of a good book/CD combo to learn it? I'm new at this stuff, all I know is a little Visual Basic and C#.

Any help would be much appreciated. I don't mind paying money if it's a good book/CD combo for learning Java.
