Wow, I FAILED that for sure.

This isn't about paranoia, this is about SHIT taking up too much space and lagging my system for no discernible benefit.

>>33
The first two of those posts are me, and I'm 22. I'm also not particularly angry, just surprised that I'd have to explain myself here of all places.

taking up too much space
A hundred megabytes out of the 100+ GB? Terrible.

and lagging my system
I don't know what you're using, but Java sure as hell doesn't lag my system when I'm not using it.

for no discernible benefit.
Like being able to use Java programs? I don't like Java either, but in the real world most people are going to eventually come across something written in Java that they simply need to run to get real stuff done, no matter how strange this may seem from your personal ivory tower.

I'm 22
Being an angry teenager doesn't have anything to do with your age. Some of the worst angry teenagers I know are well past 20.

Just give up, some people will just use as little as possible, even if it hinders their work, just because hey follow some silly ideals.

Hahahaha, oh wow. Go play in traffic, kid.

Yeah, I know that. I used to be into that kind of asshattery myself ten years ago (using a minimal Slackware install to make sure that there isn't a single unused program bloating my system and other kinds of silly timewasting).

i dont see LEAH or CULVER in that map, and thus think it is a work of fiction. Prove me wrong.

Lol "pronounce".

Also, the main subject of /prog/ has become /prog/ itself.

Shame on me, sorry

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-11 11:43

Why was Xenogears popular in 2005? Did /prog/ have some sort of early obsession with it (which would be understandable) or were there few enough posts that a single thread on Xenogears was able to impact the wordcount?

I still don't understand why this shitty website requires Java in order to view a static image.

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-11 11:48

Your browser doesn't seem to understand the APPLET tag.
Thank god

>>52
Indeed, I used to be able to open /prog/ in my browser without having to look at threads from 2 years ago, bumped by a faggot with faux nostalgia.

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-11 11:59

I lol'd at the prominent pronounces.

lol that would be me

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-11 15:30

/prog/ did not "evolve", it was created by god 6000 years ago.

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-11 16:54

>6000
Was that in dog years?
