I've been more social, I got into college, a CS degree, a job at the University in the CS research department with opportunities to take me all the way out to a Ph.D.

"But when they wrote back they used some acronyms, and I'm sure you know what this is VIPPER, you're so good with computers. I mean I know what LOL and ROFL and some things mean, but I just couldn't find these anywhere in my internet help books!"
She handed me a small post-it note, on which was written, in my grandmother's neat script handwriting:
