Netbeans java output to xterm

Dear /prog/,

as i have already read my sicp today, would somebody be so kind to enlighten me how i can display the console output of a NetBeans java project in a terminal, e.g. xterm.

I can't stand the NetBeans output window anymore.

Absolutely.  It is a true seed of life which self-assembles into a beautiful, living, self-replicating, self-healing body.  Except this one is better documented and more maintainable than the meatspace counterpart.
