How can I do this?

I want to create a linked list data-structure in C, but I do not want to have to malloc any memory. Is it possible to do this in a way that makes it simple to traverse and add to the list?

It's a bad habit I've picked up from being a Seppler in the past. I'm trying to shake off the bits and pieces of bad habits; even caught myself typing delete a couple of times, and once wishing for some kind of RAII. And some namespaces.

Then I remembered all that bullshit was just excess bloat.
