Java Fonts

I'm in a java 121 class right now and I have an LCD style font for one of my programs I want to use in a JTextArea. I have downloaded the .ttf for the font but i don't know how to use it in my program. How might I go about doing so? I'm using Eclipse Europa.

I got that when I was 11. I stopped using it when I was 14. I'm not sure why it was in that profile.
