emacs halp

I just got emacs, just learning C
/prog/ help.
I'm not expert enough to read SICP yet, so inb4 that.

How do I compile something written in C on emacs?

I expect many trolls, one serious answer at least would be nice.

Not really. The problem is that one group of engineers will use one subset of C++ and another group of engineers will use another subset. Then what happens is the build usually dies because none of the engineers could agree on which subset of C++ to use. Of course the only way you would have known something like this is if you would have actually worked out in industry as a computer programmer.

Also, Vim sucks compared to Archie from Plan9. But of course I don't expect a mental midget like yourself to know about such things. Now go run along and scrub another toilet.
