Just now starting to learn all this (mhmm, just java... :( ), how long did it take you to "get" it and actually make it work? I mean, this shit is complicated....

BlueJ is one of the worst IDE's of all [b][i][u]TIME[/b][/i]/u]. STAY AWAY.
Absolute java 4th edition by Savitch is a good book.
