so i'm majoring in cs at a large university.
last semester, i got an A in java 1 by the skin of my teeth.  i hate java, and now i am in java 2.  i hate oop.  i hate it.

i want to do robotics in the future.
i know i will eventually learn c++, lisp, and acl2 before i graduate.

i know you don't code robots in java, but how important is it to learn oop for robots, and the rest of these courses?
