Ideas for master thesis

Hey guys, help me pick a master thesis to work on. My major is information management. I'm blank on ideas.

Suggestions I've seen so far include work on gene search, distributed p2p ranking, and xml related work (ugh).

Do real-time interactive ray-tracing that works on current hardware.
