I'm quite partial to Black Mages' version of Dancing Mad from FF6 (final fight against Kefka)

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 2:00

I do listen to FF6/CT, or occasionally remixes thereof.
Dancing Mad and Schala's theme are good. If only I could get them to play on my Linux box... WoW has a couple of good background loops as well. And when deadline approaches, it's time for MORTAL KOMBAT!

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 2:12

I loop SICPtheme.mp3 at full volume, and so should you.

Someone from the russian /prog/ actually created a remix of the sicp theme

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 6:57

What russian /prog/?

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 7:31

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 7:33

software != programming

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 7:38

Russia doesn't have a prog

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 8:42

Soviet Russia has a /code/, though.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 15:58

Really? I went through google translator, and I couldn't find anything remotely to what can be perceived as a programming board

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 17:09

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-07 18:17

sovietrussia is not russian

Fuck off, stop trolling, G.J. Sussman. >.<

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 18:58

I listen to Mozart while programming Oz because I'm ironic like that.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 19:21

I listen to DRAGONFORCE while coding.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 19:30

cat /usr/bin/clisp > /dev/audio and cat ~/SICP.txt > /dev/audio is all the music I will ever need.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 19:44

>>31
What? Clisp is like, two seconds long.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 19:56

>>31
Just use loops to make a playlist.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 19:58

cat /dev/urandom > /dev/audio

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 20:00

>>34
I always find other people's entropy more interesting.

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 20:21

>>33
Two-second loops? Uh-oh....

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 20:26

>>36
You are not an EXPERT INDUSTRIAL MUSIC APPRECIATOR

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-08 22:15

>>29
You know, if you code in Oz while listening to The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, the music matches the execution of threads almost perfectly.
"You lock the door
And throw away the key" coming just as I inadvertedly got two threads in a deadlock was really spooky.
