Life of a programmer

Name: Anonymous 2007-11-08 22:47

Wake at 7:00 AM
Arrive to work at 8;30 AM
Lunch at 1:00 PM
Resume work at 2:00 PM
Finish work at 6:00-7:00 PM
Arrive home at 7:30-8:00 PM
Do chores until 10:00PM-11:00 PM
Sleep until 7:00 AM

Is there more to it? It seems all I do is work work and work, no time to do anything else. I want to exercise, go out like everyone else does. Hell, even the secretary leaves before my team and I do.

Am I getting ripped off? Is this asking too much? I don't know. :(

I live on my own. That means I have to prepare my own food, lunch for tomorrow, clean my house, laundry, etc, before it turns into a hellish mess. I know it does.

Well paid. I suppose you are very good at what you do. But a bit low for me, would not pay my expenses with just 800 weekly. I have to support my mother and sisters back home, you see.
