At first I didn't know any Emacs key combos but the basic motion keys. Those were pretty easy to learn. Later on I learned many more and it was pretty fucking cool. Now my fingers have learned to work Emacs without my brain's intervention, and half my buffer will disappear while I'm looking at it. If it weren't for Slime, I'd so be using Acme.
Does that happen to anyone else? You get in the zone and all of a sudden you're Emacsing faster than the speed of thought?
