java be damned

hey how do i make a "%" sign using printf in java. i forgots

If you think that "java sucks" you are an idiot.

Java isn't great, it wont help you attain expertness, it wont tell when you your coffee is ready (well it was used to do that actually).

but

* It's a simple programming language with an object system and a large library.
* Other people know and understand it and have a compiler already set up for it.
* You can write java applets quickly and easily with it.

For these reasons if you "hate" java and think it "sucks" you are just depriving yourself of a useful tool and are therefore, an idiot.

(It should be noted that programming languages are tools and of course no tool is suitable or effective for every task)
