first off i would like to say that i am not trying to program a game. i am looking for the software, or the name of the software used to create 3D images. i would also like to know if any of them come with animation options also.
i ask because i would like to manipulate and improve on mechanical devices so i may better my knowledge about mechanical engineering.
mostly firearms.

Thank you for your time

Now GTFO, this has nothing to do with programming.

On /prog/ it's POV-Ray since it takes coding in a shitty langauge and /prog/ loves those.

And YOU: 3D apps are useless for this, /prog/ is for the ramming of /prog/s, gtfo.

I'm a citizen of the world. I have no stable home, but I usually sleep in MIT's AI laboratory, or steal Hal's couch. This is a free world. But for it to be really free, you need to prohibit. You need to prohibit others from making it non-free, for example, by taking others' work and selling it under a non-free license, so that users are deprived of their right to know, to learn, to use software in any way they see fit, and to help others through sharing.
