Where to start.

Want to start to learn programming but haven't the devil of an idea where to begin.

Python, Java, C, some places even recommended HTML to start off.

What language did you start to program with?

I haven't heard of SICP, but I'd be happy with any sort of results.

I haven't really given that much thought, heh. Eventually, I'd like to be able to code video games, but till then I'm happy if I could make a decent text editor or something.
