jobs + real time kernal programmin?

Is there - or is the whole real time kernal market dominated by open source? e.g. knoppix and rtlinux? Cuz i like that shit and i dunno if i should specialize in it? 4chan what do thou suggesteth?

The embedded market is enormous, and there are plenty of companies who don't want to put up with 1980s OS technology written by sysadmins, and LUNIXFAG engineers who waste company time trying to port scummvm to their embedded platforms.
