PHP is awesome

This is how you create a anonymous function in PHP:

$newfunc = create_function('$a,$b', 'return "ln($a) + ln($b) = " . log($a * $b);');

I don't have a clue how that works.. is it portable? (not that I'd actually use it in a real C program :p)
