Learning how to program

Hey, I'm sure you get plenty of these threads and hate them to bits, but, here goes anyway.

I want to learn how to program, and end up in something like videogame development eventually, so, how do I get there?

There are so many different languages, and so many tutorials around I don't really know where to start.

if you're like 18 and above and has yet to learn programming, forget it, chances are there are better and younger asians who would be hired and paid with dirt.
