C++ is worthless extra bytes

Ok /prog/, we all know Java is stupid, but why does anyone use C++ *anywhere*? It just makes the code take up horribly convoluted forms, and it slows down the programming process because you have to write awful template hodgepodge to accomplish the simplest things available in any decent language. I got rid of all my C++ code and my programs get finished so much faster now!

I'm willing to take your word, but I heard it to be true from several different threads on this very message board.  I'm not an expert programmer but I think maybe the problem is that you are confusing touring complete with turing complete?
