Guys, I need a python book, not for learning how to write python code, but for learning how to program in python. Any recommends?

Remember: all /prog/ memes are lame memes

This book looks massive, and I have no need for about 90% of it. I'm not interested in the GUI and web programming references, or any references for that matter. All I'm really looking for is an insightful discussion of some of the more unusual features of the language, like first-order functions, lambdas, generators, etc. and their implications on how to program most effectively in python.
