A full team of my coworkers was outsourced to India just last month! Congratulations, your employer prefers short term savings to long term viability just like mine does!

The company I'm interning at outsourced their relational database management. It was a complete disaster and now they're spending a ton rebuilding the domestic operations.
Secretly, most of the staff is laughing.

secretly the person who thought of doing to begin with is a moron. databases on a global communication scale are nothing to be fucked with lightly...
be lucky if they kept their job after that genious effort.
Keep their job? Are you kidding? They probably got a hefty raise and a promotion for their cost-saving skills! The people who get fired are the low-level dev managers who couldn't somehow force people who work 3000 miles away to do a good job. Why blame upper management idiocy when you can blame devs or lower management? Shit rolls downhill.

The Chinese sysadmins and programmers we have working for us in Guangzhou are one the whole performing better than their counterparts in our US offices. And they're cheaper.
They outsourced our company's IT to IBM. Now we all have to use shitty lotus notes.

Americans are superior to Asians in that Americans invent stuff because they are creative; Asians only copy stuff. If you want something new and different Asians won't deliver they can only copy and paste.
I'm >>15. I wish it were dead. I wish to God it were dead. It makes my eyes cry blood every time it pulls some new fucked up shit. (I cry blood @work about 3 times/day).
Whatever hottie sales rep my company's fucking executive managed to bang, I hope it was fucking worth the daily agony he subjected his thousands and thousands of coworkers to.
Bringing /prog/ back to its people
