Learnin' dat languagezz

Name: Anonymous 2006-11-24 17:42

I want to learn C and C++. I've got a solid foundation in Java for the past year and a half in my KOLLAGE, but that's the only real programming they offer in my degree (other than ksh, bsh, etc. scripting) and I want to learn more.

What are some good books to read up on?

Or dictionaries. Oh, wait, objects are implemented as dictionaries in many languages.

Out of Java, C++ and C, C is almost always the best choice.
