does anyone know how in the hell 4chan navigates back to the last position a user was viewing after they refresh the page(for example, if they were viewing board 4 of /s/, and hit refresh, they would refresh just board 4, and not be sent back to board 0)? I've been trying to setup a wakaba board, and I can't figure it!! I thought it was some javascript but I can't find the code that does it on the board, so if anyone knows please tell me!!!

no dude, you don't understand, if you use 4chan with frames, and you nav to a sub board (2.html) in you example, and you refresh, it takes you back there, and it has some way of knowing where you were, or it tricks the browser into thinking that the 2.html is the active frame or something, because otherwise when you hit refresh it takes you back to the Proceed/News inital pages
