XML: Differences in 2K vs XP

I have an app I'm working on that... while stable and runs perfectly in 2000, crashes with a "XML/XLS PARSE ERROR" in windows XP.

Is there a legititmate reason for this?

How would I fix it?

Step one would be tracking down the source of the crash. You do know how to use a debugger, right?
